⚛ Rutherford's Gold Foil Experiment

Alpha particles from a radioactive source pass through a slit, hit a thin gold foil at the center of a circular ZnS detecting screen.
Most pass straight through. Some deflect at angles. Very few (1 in 8000) reflect back!
